Scholarship Details

Who can Apply?

Entry to "Naipunyam" scheme is for students from class 8 onwards, where the selection is based only on merit and the financial background of the parents. A very strict and transparent selection/ranking criterion has been set up for this purpose. The criteria to qualify for this scheme are as follows:

• Financially challenged students in 8th standard.
• Studying at Government or Government aided schools in Kerala.
• Minimum 80% aggregate marks in the previous year/term examination.
• Minimum 80% attendance is essential
• Only students scoring above 80% in the final exam will be eligible for renewal.

How to Apply?

• Collect forms through OSC members/Schools/NSS Karayogams etc. The form can also be downloaded from our web site
• Marks attested by the head of the educational institution.
• Domicile proof attested by respective NSS karayogams.
• Duly filled form can be sent via post to Oasis Charitable Society, Flat No.8A, Artech Lake Castle, NH 47, Kangathumukku, Kollam or can be mailed to oasissocietykerala@gmail.com on or before 25th June.

Scholarship and Training activity:

• Every year in the last week of June, the selection committee will meet to scrutinise the applications received for the year based on set criteria and prepare the final list of qualified students.
• Distribution of scholarship to selected students during the month of July or August.
• Conduct camps and seminars to identify and improve the talents of selected students.
